Visual consults at scale: smile simulation for DSOs
How DSOs roll out smile simulations across every practice, the API path for platform teams, and the data-handling posture that survives procurement review.

How a dental lab puts a branded preview next to the prescription: your own materials in the consult, and fewer remakes from a look that was already agreed.
Labs live or die by the value they add beyond the bench. A smile simulation programme gives your lab a consultation-side product: the prescribing practice sees your lab’s name on the preview that wins the case, and the case that was simulated arrives at your bench with the aesthetic target already agreed.
Branded portal. The laboratory offering includes a white-label, branded portal, integration of the lab’s own models and materials, and per-lab style catalogues. In practice that means your accounts open simulations that carry your identity, choose from a style catalogue you defined, and send the approved look with the prescription.
API integration. Labs with their own case-management software integrate the
same REST contract the Enterprise API exposes: submit a photo, choose the
operation and options, receive the simulation. Sandbox access is free for
integration, and sandbox keys use the same contract as live — there is no
rewrite between testing and production. Sandbox keys are prefixed
sc_sandbox_, live keys sc_live_.
The pitch to your accounts is simple: show the patient the proposed smile on the patient, using the catalogue your lab supports, and send that image with the case. Practices get higher case acceptance from visual consults; you get prescriptions that reference an approved picture instead of adjectives.
Enterprise API pricing is negotiated per contract, so scope the programme with the team: which accounts, which style catalogue, portal or API or both. Sandbox access is free for integration — validate the workflow end to end before the commercial agreement is signed.
Yes. The laboratory offering includes a branded portal, the lab's own models and materials, and a per-lab style catalogue. The approved look goes out with the prescription.
The approved simulation is the shared reference for the case.
Uploaded photos are deleted approximately one day after upload and result URLs expire within 1 hour; images are never used to train models.
Email support@smilecraft.app — pricing is negotiated per contract, and sandbox validation happens first.
